Designtales is an award-winning Interior Design Studio established in 2016 that believes in creating spaces with stories. Whether it's a story of a client in a residential project or a story of a brand in a commercial one, it's all in the plot, and design is just a tool.

With a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from BITS Pilani, Dubai, and a Master's degree in Interior Design from Pratt, New York, Meghana Nimmagadda strives to create thoughtfully designed evocative spaces that linger in people’s memories.

SOME OF OUR WORK

Over the last seven years, we have completed over 1,50,000 SFT of interiors and are set to tell more stories through design in the coming years. We are grateful to have created luxury projects in reputed communities such as DSR The First, My Home Bhooja, GMR Trendset, Myscape MEA, and others. Here is a sample of some of our work.

If you are a dreamer, and you are bold enough to explore how aesthetics, and luxury can be delicately interwoven with your unique personality and choices in turning your home into a "hard to miss" statement, Meghana is your visionary, advisor, partner and design leader for you!

Beyond her work speaking for her and her credentials, here are probably unknown things about Meghana that I specifically appreciate in her work:

1) Meghana is a person with "strong opinions yet loosely held". It's easier for any designer to NOT get into brainstorming with the client, as they are the expert and can push through their recommendations. But, she critics her own work until she surprises herself.

2) Meghana is top of her game. Like any profession, anyone can be designer but only few are really innovating while the rest are catching up with me too behaviors. I have seen Meghana bold enough to keep pushing the boundaries and seek out the unknown.

3) Meghana turns unknown to knowns so clients and every single member of her team participate in design process more easily without getting intimidated with the complexity involved.

So one day I was randomly scrolling through Instagram for my house interiors and I happened to see Designtales page and I felt an instant connection. We quickly made a call , everything fell in place and there it all began!

Meghana is someone who is meticulous, sharp and on point with everything she does. I think the mutual understanding made everything very smooth and easy. And so finally we are extremely happy and content with the way it has turned out and thank the entire team who have made our small little vision a reality. Whoever comes to visit our house now are awestruck to say the least and we can’t stop gushing to all the compliments!

Meghana started the project with a small survey to understand our likes and when we mentioned Boston as the place my wife and I met, she pitched a brick finish and celtic green look for the house which is our personal favourite and definitely the thing that sets our house apart.

She presented us with a variety of good options within our budget and maintained transparency while getting quotes from interior stores, and vendors, which we appreciated. Meghana and the whole Designtales team managed to surpass our expectations. We now have a cozy, fun, and beautiful place we are so happy to call our home!
